Wrapping sheet metal air ducts with Microlite XG allows for not only superior acoustical and thermal performance, but the wrap is also an environmentally smart product. Formaldehyde has been eliminated from the fiber glass wool manufacturing process. Using the new binder also allows JM to eliminate formaldehyde emissions from the fiber glass wool manufacturing process without energy-intensive abatement systems.

This formaldehyde-free, white fiber glass duct wrap is noticeably softer to work with, which means less irritation, dust and improved productivity.
